Bart came to the TwentyTen Group from Sport BC and KidSport where he led Sport BC’s Marketing and Business Development Team in a revitalization of the brand and renewed corporate and government engagement. Prior to that, Bart spend over a decade working in professional sports as Vice-President of Baseball Operations & Assistant General Manager of the Toronto Blue Jays and as a marketing executive with the Toronto Argonauts. Bart has also contributed his MLB expertise as a regular guest on radio and online publications such as Sporting News Radio, XM Home Plate and Sportsnet.ca.
While at KidSport, Bart developed a strategic plan to maximize the brand relevance leading up to and during the Vancouver 2010 Games. Incredible performances by the Canadian Olympians who joined “Team KidSport”, key partnerships with Olympic partners and some creative activation led to an increase in brand awareness of 50% and record corporate involvement.
As the Senior Partner overseeing Growth and Client Servicing at the TwentyTen Group, Bart spends most of his working hours developing robust relationships with, and on behalf of, the esteemed portfolio of clients that have partnered with the TwentyTen Group.
IN THE COMMUNITY
Bart is an active member of the Marketing & Business Development Advisory Committee for the Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation.
Always game to chat about ‘the game’, just don’t ask him about the Leafs / Canucks rivalry – it’s a myth. But feel free to share your youth soccer coaching tips – his son has developed a passion for the sport (or at least the post-game snack).
Speaking of post-game refreshments, Bart is currently on the hunt for a good-tasting gluten-free beer.
